About / AI consultant & engineer

Applied
AI.
Production
grade.

I'm Chris, an AI consultant and engineer. I've spent 10+ years building production software, and I now design and build AI agents, RAG assistants, and LLM integrations for teams that want AI doing real work.

Bootable is my independent practice in Baltimore. You work directly with me, from the first conversation to the system your team runs.

Experience

Production software.
Real users. Real constraints.

From 2022 to 2025 I was a software engineer at Mind Over Machines in Owings Mills, building secure multi-tenant applications, integrations, dashboards, and reporting workflows for client operations teams.

I've also been a technical associate at Techstars Equitech Baltimore, helping founders turn rough ideas into working MVPs. On the AI side, I've shipped a live AI product (AI Meditation Guide), built RAG-style memory and retrieval for Tavros.ai, and designed agent workflows with logging, approvals, and evaluation loops. Day to day I work with LLM APIs, embeddings and retrieval, .NET/C#, Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Azure.

Before software, and alongside it, I've produced music, video, and live productions since 2008. That's where I learned to care about the person on the other end of the tool, and to ship on a deadline.

Working together

A direct line
to the person building it.

01 / One collaborator

You work with me.

From the first conversation through the build. Clear communication about decisions, progress, and tradeoffs.

02 / The right tools

The problem leads.

We start with your work and the people doing it. The technology follows from what will make that work better.

03 / A proper handover

You get the keys.

A working system should be understandable. Documentation, training, and a clear next step are part of the work.
